Update: Prices have been increased as per the proposal.
Petrol prices have been proposed by Pakistan’s top governing body for Oil & Gas products by rupees 1.3 per liter. The increase is proposed to align the local prices oil with international oil prices which is a monthly exercise on part of OGRA.
Last month the government had slashed petroleum prices by rupees 1.3 liter, now though, if Ministry of Petroleum approves of the increase, the prices will then be raised by rupees 1.3 per liter from tonight.
Price of Diesel and Kerosine oil is also proposed to be increased in the same proposal, by rupees 75 paisas and 65 paisas per liter respectively.
