While some of you are experts in parallel parking and can park cars in a jiffy in the parallel parking spot, most people find it hard to master this art. For people like me, a member at 9GAG posted this step-by-step guide on how to parallel park and I thought why not make it an instruction guide for many people out there who struggle every day while parking their cars.
So here it is, the step-by-step guide which will teach you how to parallel park like a boss:
Step 1:
Start two feet away with bumpers parallel to the car on your right in the case where your desired spot is at the back and turn the steering wheel all the way towards the right side.
Step 2:
Start reversing your car and keep going back with the wheel fully turned to the right side, until you see the rear car’s license plate in your side view mirror, which means you are 45 degree angle now.
Step 3:
Turn your steering wheel straight and keep going back.
Step 4:
Stop reversing your car once the front of your vehicle has passed the rear bumper of the vehicle in your front.
Step 5:
Now turn your steering all the way to the left and start reversing again until your vehicle is straight.
Step 6:
Take a deep breath now as you have successfully parallel parked your car.
