Toyota Motors Thailand has revealed the facelifts for the Toyota Camry lineup at the 2015 Bangkok Motor Show, including the sporty Extremo variant. The Toyota Camry Extremo will be offered in the basic 2.0G, 2.5G and the upper end hybrid variants.
The front end of the Camry Extremo is decorated with very aggressive lower grille which integrates the fog lamps within itself. The upper grille is matched with the projector headlamps which are heavily garnished with chrome all over them. The bumper has aggressive side air intakes. At the rear, the Extremo comes with tail lamps in chrome garnish and the bumper is fitted with a diffuser with dual exhaust pipes to complement it.
Inside, the Extremo is fitted with features such as ventilated front seats, three-zone aircon, adaptive cruise control and a wireless charging feature for supported devices.
The baseline engine is brand new, a 2.0-liter 4 cylinder motor with D4-S injection and a new VVT-iW. It develops around 167HP and 199NM of torque which is slightly more than the previous versions. The gearbox is also a new 6-speed unit. Above that, 2.5-liter and hybrid variants are also offered.
The Toyota Camry Extremo is priced at THB 1.429 million (PKR 4.48 million). The facelifted Camry will be offered in the Indian market aswell, in this year, while there is no news if this Camry will replace the Pakistani variant of the Toyota Camry.
