After a ton of leaks, speculations and reveals, Toyota Motor Corporation has officially launched the 2016 Toyota Hilux Revo yesterday in Bangkok.
Some specs and a video of the Toyota Hilux Revo were earlier shared , which debuted in Bangkok yesterday. As speculated, the truck is offered with 3 engine options and a handful of features, which takes the 8th generation Hilux to a whole new level! Toyota Hilux Revo price in Pakistani is going to be between 4-5 million Pakistani Rupees.

The all-new 2.8-liter GD diesel engine will be available in two tuning states – 177 hp and 420 Nm and 177 hp and 450 Nm – while the 2.4-liter diesel engine will be tuned to make 150 hp and 400 Nm and 153 hp and 343 Nm. The diesel engines can be tuned to make more power due to the VN turbocharger, which has a good potential of being tweaked. The 2.7-liter Dual VVTi petrol engine is retained with an output of 122 hp and 245 Nm.
The Toyota Revo has been revamped inside out, although it shares the design language to a small extent with its predecessor generation, the new Hilux has equipped with top-notch features.

Excellent specs. Pity about dashboard and steering wheel – they look ugly. Any information on engine maintenance requirements and performance in dusty environments? Hopefully appropriately specced diesel and lubricants will be made available in Pakistan in the not too distant future, Does our Transport Ministry oversee such things or are they engaged in more productive activity?
