first thing is buying power. definitely if u spend more u'll get things better.
so potohar seems better than others, doing almost all things, wat other can do, in less money.

Suzuki Potohar is a local mauf 1000cc jeep costing over 6 lacs. Mini Pajero is a 660 cc intercool turbo jeep which comes in 4x4 and 2x2. It starts form 450k upto 8k depending upon model.Jimny comes in 660cc and 1300cc and is Japan manuf like Mini Pajero. Now both these are millions times better then Potohar. But depending upon your need you should buy if you just want to drive in city buy mini pajero or jimny 660cc but if you want to go off roading buy the Jimny 1300cc. Also keep in mind do not buy the auto version for the Pajero cuz it is a 3 speed auto and at high speed is over reved. Go for the manual for Jimny and Pajero.

I would have to say that among the 3 options...Jimmy is surely the best and the most capable offroader.

basically jimmy is the new version of potohar and both of them are quiet good offroaders. as the poohar is used in many offroading avents abroad and is considered to beone of the best in light weight small machines.. as far as pajero mini is conserned... i seriously doubt its offroading capabilities and ismore of a on road car.
its all about power to weight ratio...

Well, i think living in lahore, maximum about 20% of my tours costs me off-roading, and 80% on-road.

than emphasis should be on 1300cc jimny instead of potohar ???

I have been driving Suzuki Jimny 1328cc, 16 valve for last two years. I have driven Suzuki Potohar. Have a short experience of Mini Pajero.

Jimny is quite powerful and faster than Potohar, especially from Mini Pajero. Jimny is even faster than big 5-door, Mitsubishi Pajero Exceed. Only quite a few SUVs and cars have got something under the hood to over take a this little monster, Jimny. Drive of Jimny is almost same as new after 100,000 km.

Fuel average of Suzuki Jimny is 11-13km/L with 1328cc and Mini Pajero is 9km/L with 660cc. And difference is so much that Suzuki Jimny can beat Mini Pajero from zero start with Mini Pajero at 80 km/hr at start in a two km race.

Now how about a Potohar with a Jimny 1.3L swap?
    How much would that cost?

    Its a dig
Though I'll say this, the mini is surprisingly comfortable and roomy compared to the potohar

I am a big fan of Jimny's, have had two 660s and two 1328s in the last two and a half years. Gave them beating almost everywhere and it let me down only once, when its Vaccum operated 4x4 malfunctioned, otherwise it was unbeatable and unmatchabe. Comfort is OK, fuel average is bearable, its reasonably roomy, and above all, its very tough.

Potohars with F10a have become antiques now. Jimny with M13a is the way to go. It is matchless in its class of small off-roaders with an equally good on-road experience. Though, 1989-1996 Jimny Sierra with G13a is also a better option than either a 1995-2007 660cc Mini Pajero or a 2000-2006 Potohar.

the mini pajero and potohar are garbage compared to the japanese jimny (1300cc),.. but i'd still not mind a mini pajero (not the 660) as it has good safety features and offers great value for money.

    potohar is an ancient relic
