Default Tip of the Day

AOA all wheelers or prospective wheelers!

Thought that I should start a thread related to tips for vehicles....so here I am.

Todays TIP,

If accidently you find that all water is finished from rediator while driving and vehicle is extremely heated then never turn off the vehicle and fill the rediator while engine is on otherwise engine might stuck.

also if rediator is leaked then put small amount of "HALDEE" powder in rediator

Unless in emergency, please ensure that you have a gap of 4 seconds from the car in front...

Since its a xlent thread, buck up SAULAT. Would like to share 2 different tips with u guys.

1- If u driving in night (specialy on highways) if u are feeling dizziness, just open window and allow fresh air to come in. This act will help u to awake up, resulting u can drive more.

2- To save driving, u must need to use ur 6th sence, let suppose, u are driving in ur town, and children are playing at the side of road. Suddenly ur 6th sence will work and alert u that any child (during playing) could directly aproch on the mid of raod, u will slow ur car and pass the busy track sooner. If u will not use ur 6th sence, resulting any unwanted case happens!!!!!!!

Thanks for ur attention!!!!!

Here you go! For next 10 mins, water droplets wont stop on windscreen and all the water will flow smoothly giving you an amazingly clear view... Stop after every 10/15 mins and repeat the same...

I cleaned my windscreen with water and newspaper- the same result! Water kept rolling right off for a good day or so.

If some machanic asks to change certain Spare Part, you should consult atleast one more to Check if he is correct or not.

When I first got the car in 2006 and i used to go to workshops for say 'brake is not working', machanic changed the Brake Disks, Tool the Disks, or on other instances Change the Air filter, change some Bolts. One time when i went for brakes he Tooled Rotor, Opened Steering and Ball Joints saying they are lose and charged me some 2000 rupees. I later got to know there was nothing wrong. Again some one asked to change all bush and I did.

Now after three years when i know little things and I got to machanics, they say Here are Orignal Disk Pads/Filter/Bolt just extraced from a New Vehicle and We will Give you on Half the Price.

Just yesterday i got a genuine Air Filter of VXRi for Just 200 rupees which was, i think, used for just 500 or 1000 kms.

These a very important little things, use your brain/experience rather believing the machanic.

While driving always analyse the braking capability of the veh infront of u n the 1 following u e.g a mehran bumper kissing a civic at high speeds will definitely hit the civic even if both cars apply brakes at same time.take care of the rear car.if ur on a heavy car with ABS n an fx is behind u extremely close behind, then dnt apply sudden brakes.ull get banged from behind!

Just to add.even if two similar vehs apply brakes at the same time the rear will take more time to stop as the driver reaction has a delay of 2-3 seconds naturally.so use ur common sense.this can save ur life.n 2-3 secs are enuff for the rear car to go into a mating position with the front.the higher the speed the longer the stopin dist.

Be wary of tyre air pumps where the boy uses the small rotary gauge to check pressure. Those morons are filling air at 40 PSI thinking its 30 PSI since a batch of those came with ONLY 'atmosphere' calibration.

3 Atmosphere=44 PSI

PS: I've had this happen to me 3 times in a span of 1 year from different pumps

On the way back from Skarud, near ASTAK NALA (almost mid of Stakdu & KKH) i realized that the brake fluid is leaking upon checking i knew that the brake cylinder was leaking. There was no shop to buy the fluid and without brakes you cannot control on that track. So for a try i bought a packet of milk from a driver hotel and filled pored it; nobody can think of the effeciency i cam all the way till Gilgit with the help of approx. a litre of milk so if anybody faces the same problem here is a tip
