dear experts.
I want to replace my serpentine belt/drive belt of my honda city idsi 2004, what is the size/# of belt?could any one help me out.......?2nd thing should I purchase from honda showroom or buy from plaza? is there any difference in terms of quality and performance?
if u are talking about timing belt then i think ur model city came with a timing chain, not the serpentine belt
well, i was not talking about timing chain, Im talking about drive belt which controls alternator, water body, and compressor of ac
take a picture of your car & goto HONDA 3S show them the photo and buy the belt. Your mechanic will be able to change it in 15 minutes.
hahahahaha
very funny................y should i take a picture? shouldnt I take my car to the showroom????????
as well as the people who are sitting there, very well aware of the meaning of drive belt......
for the reference of you people .........
well then if car is drive_able the number is printed in high visibility yellow or green color on the belt note it down to buy fresh new one !
I have found that the OE belts of any car to be at least 10 times better than unbranded items.
@xulfiqar how to identify belt size when nothing is ' embossed ~ printed over the belt'
inchitape
convert to mm and then check the belt dealer.
and same 'inchitape' be rotated around the belt path and then taken to shop when belt is broken away lost. ??
yes - I have done that a few times too.
