Default Yamaha 150cc vs Suzuki Gs150 vs Piaggio BYQ 150

    Expected competition in 150cc...

    1. Suzuki GS 150cc : Price 103500
    2. Piaggio BYQ 150cc : Price 200,000 (expected)
    3. Yamaha 150cc : Price 160,000 (expected)

This is expected competition and Yamaha is going to launch its first real bike after many years and rumor about its investments in Pakistan is real... Stay tune...and share if u get any pics...

I too want Yamaha to invest and create competition, ... But this is more of a "truck ke batti" scenario.

The Expected price figure of BYQ 150 is ~170K (due to the high import duties on complet bike import) same is the case with Suzuki GD 110 its being imported as single unit so price is ~100K which seema quite high as compare to other bikes being sold by Suzuki & its competitors. So f the Yamah is to import its initial lot as complete single unit then its price would be difinately ~200K (if the expected model is being launched).Prices may got reduced if the product got hit in market & major parts prodution got localised but in that case build quality will again becomes ?

Yamaha is not launching its bikes now in Pakistan.... Due to pathetic warehousing and pathetic political environment specially in Karachi... They have been asked for heavy bhatta even to get warehouse and showrooms nearby Markets... So leave Yamaha out frm this contest...

Bro, Economic Coordination Committee headed by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar approved Yamaha's entry into the motorcycle market as new entrant. therefore Yamaha is now a recognized motorcycle manufacturer in Pakistan. as per Yamaha's CEO, initial production was scheduled for late 2014.

Yamaha was facing troubles therefore the new government took Yamaha's plea quiet seriously and introduced "new technology motorcycle" policy that favored early entry of Yamaha into an already established motorcycle market.

Finance minister Ishaq Dar did back to back meetings to pursue the case. infact, even two consecutive ECC meetings were held in two days just to finalize Yamaha's case.

    Regards.
