BTW, price sounds pretty reasonable provided they've good build quality and motor... And lets not forget E-Bikes doesn't need oil/air/fuel filters, engine oil, seals, gaskits, tuning, valve clearance etc etc. Just recharge and go... They rarely need any major maintenance. My only concern would be range...

How much time it takes to charge up the battery to 100%?
What kind of battery does these scoots use? Acid or dry?
What about maintenance schedule?

A 20 AH battery:
Discharging rate: 20 Amps per hour
Charging rate : 8 Amps per hour
if battery is charged for 6 hours: 48 Amps consumed (might be battery will not be fully charged in 6 hours after continue usage as the efficiency of charging rate decreases)
If the supply voltage is 230V, the power in watts is V * I. Thus a 2 amp load is 460W so,
Total electricity used for 6 hours: 11040 Amps
One unit of electricity is an average power of 1kW for 1 hour
Units used in one charge of 6 hours: 11
If one unit cost Rs 10 including all direct taxes, indirect taxes, bank & service charges
one day cost/one charge cost : Rs 110
If one day travel is 80KM so cost of 1 KM is Rs.1.375
Monthly cost : Rs 3300
Yearly cost: Rs 39600
after 15 months a new battery will be required which will be of Rs 15000
so next year cost would be: Rs 54600
So next year per KM cost would be: Rs 2/KM
if your current cost is at least above than Rs 4/KM then you should go for this ride
Note: raining/Dew can be disaster for winding in motor& battery packs(until unless the equipment is waterproof)
If your petrol bike gets broken while riding you can get to any mechanic , incase of Electronic bike you would have to drag it!
I have seen electronic bikes in market in year 2011-2012 these were being imported by somebody else with the same identical designs but speed/torque no doubt are improved in the bikes imported by TazTrading
