Aoa dear Pakwheelers.
For quite some time I had been inspired by the output, throw, cut off, focus of hid projectors.
Previously , I had a very bad experience with @ledlightmakerz in terms of honesty and truth.
I send Tanzeel @ledlightmakerz the stock headlight of my bike to be retrofitted into projector headlight.
It was his first retrofit of projector in GS 150.
He overcharged me quite a lot and conveyed wrong information regarding the retrofit.
First of all, he said that the projector can be retrofitted in stock headlight. I asked him about the cost and transferred amount of all parts and labour.
But then he calls me and says sir, ye headlight ka glass nhi nikal sakta. Aur agar nikalo GA tou toot jae GA.
So this meant new headlight had to be purchased and I had to pay for that too.
Clearly, this shows he hadn't done retrofit on SUZUKI GS150 before. He experimented on my light and I had to pay more. Had he done the retrofit before, he would have known about this and would have informed before hand.
I will talk about this later in this topic as I need to cover everything in sequence.
Generally most of us think that we can just place hid in projector and we're good to go. I also had same thoughts but now I learned it the hard way.
However, this is not the case..
There are two types of projectors.
Halogen and hid.
Halogen projectors require halogen bulbs like h3.
Whereas hid projectors requires hid bulbs like d2s etc.
This guy basically installed a halogen projector . I am 100 percent sure about that .
He said it's Cygnus hid projector but according to the guy who did my recent retrofit @keiworks12 it's 100pc not Cygnus projector.
Ledlightmakerz told me that for best results get h3 hid bulb. He should have never said that but should have informed me not to use hid in the projector he gave me.
Even if light visibility is fine he should have not advised using hid in halogen projector as it can fade away the reflector bowl inside halogen projector.
I will not refer this guy to anybody now. He is not honest in the field. His words can't be trusted. Don't know how many people have been ripped off by this person.
He takes advantage of people who come to him as people have limited knowledge about difference in projector.
I am really disappointed. I tried not to post anything regarding this for quite sometime but at last had to inform others so they may realize what other person has experienced and try to stay on safe side rather than getting ripped off.
So now, here I am sharing new retrofit done by @keiworks12.
Asked him to retrofit my light. He gave me full information regarding projectors difference of projector like hid and halogen. Types of bulb that fits.
Previously I had mentioned that Ledlightmakerz said that new headlight had to be purchased in order to get retrofit as glass will break if separated. He was all wrong. @keiworks12 retrofitted in stock light. No need to change it . and the glass came off very easily in matter of seconds.
Here are details.
Lexus LS430 OEM HID projector with color modding.
Mitsubishi OEM D2S HID ballast.
Philips Germany D2S 6000k bulb
Devil eye
I am totally in love with the light. It's visibility, cut off focus all are above my expectations.
Though there's a difference between halogen projector output and hid projector output with hid being the better one I will not say that the halogen projector which I previously had was bad. Once it is fitted with the right size halogen bulb it will do it's job just fine.
-Lexus hid projector= Famous for super wide beam and awesome output, focus and cutoff
-OEM bulb =genuine philips oem d2s made in Germany
-Mitsubishi OEM ballast =instant warm up time, waterproof high quality 35w ballast. Miles greater than Chinese ballasts.
Now price difference :
@keiworks12
Hid projector retrofit (total) =10k
Break up
-Projector(hid) Lexus LS430 OEM =4k
-Bulb oem philips =2k
-Ballasts oem Mitsubishi =4k

Halogen projector retrofit (total) =8.2k

-Projector (halogen) (can't say anything about brand)(definitely not Cygnus) =4k (overcharged)

Though I paid more for hid projector retrofit, I don't regret my decision as I was fully informed with pics of what I was going to get. I had peace of mind and @keiworks12 did his best to retrofit the light in just 2 days.
At last, I would say that I don't have any personal enmity with @ledlightmakerz nor do I have any intention to hurt his business, but to make him realize that please don't play with others. Don't take advantage of people just be cause they don't have much idea/knowledge in that field.
I tried to message you on whatsaap but u never replied back even after multiple multiple tries.
So this created doubt in my mind. I could have bombarded this thing on your wall but I don't feel good to hurt someone's business.
Just needed to make the public aware.
So guys, really appreciate your time here. Enjoy the pics.
