    These bikes, I believe, are for long rides primarily. Who'd like to ride it on the busy roads like ours' with a red signal on the next corner?

    @ahsan1702

    Thanks a lot.

    @toofast

    Why old folks?Do they have more strength than young ppl?

    I have seen a lot of these in Taif being rented by Shabbab especially around Bukharia.

    @KamranAslam

    Funny-(with A/C) in the open air in Karachi @ 43degree Celsius.
    What good?

    @7thgear

    For fun,my dear
    .We can drive sports bike like Suzuki GSX-R on busy roads.That is driven on such signal roads too.

    If I ever buy a bike here,it would be the same one.
    Anyknowhow about its import & whether there is a permit to drive these.

    Maybe ppl here like one wheeling but it is hard with it.

    Assalamualaikum

    Now ppl are beginning to see goldwings around Pakistan.Good.

    @humy

    If that is so,are the sports bikes meant for normal city use?

    I'd again say,if we can drive big cars around,sports bikes trun trun trunning in every posh area,why not these.
    It is not expensive either.

    @jamaal

    Drawing too much attention is because we don't have many of them around.

    The price of Gold wing is 22000~25000US$ depending on options while a hyper super Sports bike(HayabUsa/ZX14) costs u around 11000~12000 US$ so how u can say that these are not expensive?

    I'm surprised that they give sat-nav and all sorts of options in these kind of bikes. I saw one few years back with sat-nav and was surprised, didn't know bikes came with such options too

    I knew 2 people who had the Goldwing in Lahore, but this was back in 2002.
    These bikes are basically cars on two wheels. They come with a stereo system, heated seats, A/C, cruise control and even a reverse gear amongst their many other options.
    The new models now come with airbags!

    One reason behind there limited count on road of pakistan is that most of the people owns bikes to show off & target Sports bikes bcoz they are more attractive. But sports bikes & cars are never meant for comfort but high performance while this type of cruisers are made for extra comfort on Long drives & also requir neat & clean Highways to run them which is not the case in Pakistan.
    As far as riding in busy roads of City is concern only the street/Naked bikes can full fill subject requirments( High tourqe @ low Engine RPM, Better Handling on sharp turns, comfaortable riding positions & etc).

    ^agreed..

    @sona, sorry to say but you have no point here, any one would understand the difference between riding an R6 and a goldwing... and i welcome bikers to reply to this thread to state which one of the two would be easier to ride in a city, a goldwing or an R6.

    Assalamualaikum

    I Don't agree with imranbhatti & humy.

    If ppl drive for showoff,Cruisers like Goldwing is the biggest showoff in the city.

    Maybe ppl are curious abt resale value thats why they prefer sports bikes,otherwise can anyone tell me the use of F1 car or Mc laren in heavy traffic city.(My Point of View)

    Choppers are perfect performance bikes in city.

    Extended hours sitting & riding on an R6 will give u the answer.

    Anyone knows which most expensive sports bike is driven in Pakistan at large.

    ^showing off isnt every thing... there are many other factors invovled which my freind you are catastrophically failing to realise... but u know what, il leave you in that little bubble of yours thinking goldwing over an R6 is ideal for city. enjoy and savour this wrongful thought.

    IMHO,,,,niether sports bikes nor cruisers are ideal for our city riding..

    leaving everything aside....and without getting into technicalities, if a machine is not used as its supposed to be,...its not very good for the engine.

    The sports bikes you speak about and the GW are both champions in thier own right
