Thanks @aliarshad26 for your comment. I had visited once Kalash via Dir and Hunza via KKH 15 years back. Also had visited Naran via Balakot. Rest of the places and roads were new to me. I haven't used GPS. I used google map to plan my route and print them out before starting my tour.
We stayed at Gujranwala at my InLaws home because we started travelling after Maghrib Payer from Lahore and continue ride towards Rawalpindi on motorbike in the night with a female is not recommended. After Gujranwala we stayed in hotels.
8 or 10 hours riding on bike exhausts everyone. As for backache, we had not ride for long hours. We rest often e.g for prayer, lunch, tea, fruits, sight seen etc. Offroad track given us hard time but we managed. After all if you are on adventure, you have to face difficulties.
I had gotten changed rear tyre and tube and front tube before starting tour because front tyre was fine and engine oil changed 3 or 4 times.
These are all hilly roads and sometimes road gains height and sometimes road level comes with the river level. Motorbike is dangerous ride in these areas if one don't do sensible ride otherwise result can be worst. If you talk about offroads, then conditions can be worst when there is rain and careful riding is so important for everyone.
We collected hotel information on the spot to keep in our record as well as to share with other tourists.
Thanks
