I then finish it off with 303 protectant (I would get it from USA in a gallon container) - best protectant you can buy. and a little goes a long way.[/QUOTE]
@xulfiqar bhai, I am, first of all, a big fan of your knowledge base as well as your willingness to help fellow pwers and, secondly, very thankful for your input. I was worried that perhaps I was doing something incorrectly in the application method, but your confirmation is all the assurance I need. What type of "soaps" do you prefer/recommend that would be readily available here (I don't foresee myself having space to bring Ajax (j/k:)), or something of that ilk, from the states as I barely have room with all of the families shopping)? I am actually a complete newb at detailing in pk and am undertaking a learning project/experiment on an old beater I use as a run - around. I want to see how much I can restore of the original look as well as learn the various processes along the way without having to sacrifice the monetary loss of damage to say a corolla or civic. The car is a 91 mehran but it is still in all original paint and interior (what's left of it) so there is enough potential there to at least show results of my efforts.
@hash4u, bro I have been meaning to come check out your stock and get some first hand guidance from you but schedule has been super busy. I believe you are in my pwd/bahria area if I'm remembering correctly. Would meeting up on this side versus isb be convenient for you. I can pick up some needed stock while I am there.
