Dear friends!
I have to admit that this time I got late in paying attention to my ride's "Private Parts"! It was after about 5 months that I finally managed to find time to go for a proper Engine Bay Cleaning exercise.
As the dirt and grime had somewhat seasoned or settled, I had to take a 5 step approach to remove everything. The steps were:-
Step-1: Wetting the entire engine bay with tap water, throughly.
Step-2: Pouring a mix of car shampoo and surf on everything and letting it sit for a minute before draining off.Step-3: Spraying Macguiar's Engine Cleaning, thoroughly on everything, letting it sit for 2 minutes and agitating the
stubborn areas.
Step-4: Draining everything with tap water, ensuring nothing is left on any part.
Step-5: Spraying Macguiar's Engine Dressing on all parts, and w off excess liquid.
It was a 30 minutes effort, and every minute was worth it! It felt very good to finally have a brand new look of my engine bay!
