yesterday i noticed that when i tap my fingers on car roof it doesn't sound like it has to be (means metal like sound). may be its painted

first of all roof will sound different because it a large sheet of metal held relatively lose than other big sheets like bonnet or boot, and second if its painted or not what difference does it make i mean i didnt get your point

As long its not rusted or leaking, it doesnt matter. Its an old car finding all ganyun is a tough ask!

yar agar body pe kahin poteen work hua ho to awaz moti ati he...aur roof paint ki sound bonnet, doors etc. se different he.

i also think roof paint sounds damp due to insulating material placed between roof and ragsine as shown in pic.

leave the sound thing aside, your machine is at poshish shop i beleive, do post new roof interior installed, and what about those white plastic things at ends of rexine which overlaps the body, how did fitter managed it in new fitting???
