remote is unlocking car but not locking?

Hi,
I am unable to lock door with remote of security system installed. But when i close all doors manually and unlock them with my remote it works??? please help me so i can fix it myself!!

master motor in driver side door must be weak and needing replacement

Exactly the same thing happened with me...replace the main motor installed in the driver's door...should not cost more than PKR1000.

simple, change master motor.. buy one complete set of central looking , and change driver side motor by your self..

also get the lock button of the remote control checked

It could be what others said or one of the small relays in your central locking box might need replacement.

if the light on remote glows when u push lock button then
the power motor on driver side needs replacement
cost from montgomery road is not more than 350-400 the one with best pressure

It could also be a loose wire from the remote brains to the lock motor. cheap twist tape installations cause this.
