Two DVC 4 Ohm Wiring To 1 Ohm
Hey Guys!
Recently, I Showed A Video Of My System On PW.. A Fellow PW'er "enerlevel" Told Me To Bring The Load Down To 1 Ohm By Adding Another D4.. It Was Pretty Confusing For Me But I Searched On Internet And Found This.. The Video Shows How To Wire two DVC 4 Ohm Subwoofers Down To 1 Ohm.. It Is Only Possible If The Amplifier Is 1 Ohm Stable Or Otherwise One Will End Up With A Blown Amplifier..
Can Anyone Please Tell How To Wire A Single 4 Ohm DVC Subwoofer Down To 2 Ohms?

it cant be ( 1 or 4 ohms compitatible )
add another woofer

4 ohms DVC (2 ohms / 8 ohms )
2 OHMS DVC ( 1 ohms / 4 ohms )
i have been in information GT-5 12
it starts with "single 4 ohms VC"

^ GT-5 Is Any Good? People Say That It Is Good Only For Deep Bass..
And What Is Its RMS Wattage?

its excursion is good
more then JBL GT0 1202
its not necessary , more watts rms more loud it will be
more air in/out makes louder , on that frequency
cause Excursion is not maximum at all frequencies
its 275Wrms only

i didnt know that 2 dual 4 ohm woofers can be used on 1 ohm load.

Yup.. It Is Helpful Because It Helps In Drawing More Power From The Amp And Thus More Bass..
@geforce: What About P1222? Heard That Its The Beast In 400RMS Range. Is It True?

And One More Question.. I Am Thinking Of Upgrading To SPL3001.. I Have A Few Querries:
1. 3001D2 Or 3001d4
2. Is 3004D4 Available Now?
3. What Power Changes I Will Have To Make? ( Battery, Alternator etc..)
