Talk about PKDM automotive industry quality...
Cute, aren't they?
The highly insulated door panels.. :S
Credit must be given to 'Sound Works & CarNation' for doing a great job at installing the equipment neatly and as effectively as possible. Kudos to Shehzad aka 'Billa' for a 'tasali-baksh' install & Humza @CarnAtion for sourcing some of the gear.
Had this from my previous install. So I used it to power my sub for the time being. Still feeds a decent 300 @4ohms. Would soon be upgraded, iA. I'd be happy if anyone suggests decent monoblocks. For now, the game is tied between the Pioneer d9601 and HK CA 1500m.
One clean old-school goody, also from my previous build. It was initially used to power the tweeters in the current install. However, for the sake of maintaining tonality, I replaced it with Mc420m.
Say hello to...
For some curious viewers, these are 'full-range' monoblocks. Their frequency response perimeters are -0.25dB from 20Hz to 20,000Hz & -3dB from 10Hz to 100,000Hz. Rated at 300watts @4ohms, 12volts, these were originally designed to run power hungry set of components passively, or an independent driver such as a subwoofer. Therefore, I used them to power my midbass + midrange drivers passively. One mono for each side.
In-case one wasn't enough..
One's a company, two's a crowd, and three's a party.
This beauty finally rests in my hands after much circulation on PW.
Some more shots of the interconnects.
