Default help - Car Audio
Guys I am plaaning to install following system in my ride please guys help to configure this system.


4 kenwood 718
2 pioneer 308 d2


Or


2 piooner 308 d2
2 kenwood 718


Please help me in selecting amplifier wire combinations.

make them properly power up according to their WRMS
they will sound good

get amplfiier which is
800Wrms @ 2 ohms

KAC 9104 - 900Wrms @ 2 ohms will be very good amplfier

now get any 2 channel amplfieri for speakers

get alpine type r 12inch instead of 2 308s
and get a pair of alpine type r 6x9 instead of 718

100% agreed with lafafa!

if u wana keep ur 308 sub.. its fi9 by me.. but DONT buy the 718z! get alpine or pioneer!

718 for bass.. poor sound quality.. u already have woofers for bass.. get speakers with sound quality to balance the system!

agreed to geforce ... that kenwood 9104 is very good for ur woofer and get any 2 channel for ur speakers...
if u want to put something at front like tweeters etc then put 4 channel amp ..

how about RedBull_ar comments.....

does 1 alpine type r 12inch compete 2 308 d2?

I also have one kenwood 3011 brand new like from previous car...

well yes type R option is very good .. but remember its 600 rms woofer and cost u 9000 each ... where as 308 cost u 4100/ and 400 rms ...

so typre r needs more money to buy and more RMS from amplifier...

2 piooner 308 d2
2 piooner ts 6992s
1 amp 4 channel for woofer
1 amp 2 channel fro speakers

will reamin best for car aduio...

can i run these 2 woofer & 2 speakers on single amp?

well u can run 1 woofer and a pair of speaker on 4 channel ...

u need two amps either one 4 channel and one 2 channel or one 2 channel and one mono .. .. up to u

yaar 308d2 will hit louder
and good lower


where 1 type r will not hit louder as 2 308 and bit less lower then 2 308d2

about that KAC9104
900Wrms @ 2
CEA Certified which tells truth power
and THD ( the base of quality of amplfieir )

i may be buying in jan
i am 40% sure

so according to geforce the sound system should be

1 alpine type r sub woofer
1 mono KAC9104
2 piooner ts6922s
2 chanel amp (company type????)

and better than

2 308 d2 sub woofer
1 mono KAC9104
2 piooner ts6922s
2 chanel amp (company type????)

Are u trying to make alot of noise of wat? cause the 718 are famous for making lot of shrill and hiss and D2 are hard lose bass

691 is an excellent choice but for the sub pioneer 306c would be great gives accurate bass
