First of all, dont make a thread for every question that comes to your mind. You can simply ask the question in the sticky thread or in one of your threads. Someone will reply. Read the rules.
The price of a 15" Type R depends on which generation you are talking about. A couple of years ago, I bought my first gen 15" for 17k... A gen 2 at that time was for 23-24k but they were short in the market. It was a rare find since Type R's are rare to come across and the few people who post ads (specialy on OLX) ask for insane prices.
The great thing about these subs is that you can use them in any type of enclosure and they will perform great. SQ, SQL or SPL. This model, being a 15" is mostly used as a SQL sub. It hits amazing lows and will go loud provided you make a HUGE box for it. Look into my Xtrail Build thread and you will see the box.
Pioneer subs are spl subs. They wont be able to keep up with the lows ( been there, done that ) so if you want your neighbours to notice you rolling down the street from a couple of blocks away, pioneer is the type of sub you are looking for.
If you really wanna see if a subwoofer can hit proper low notes, play BassTronics - Bass I Love you. I made my pioneer 307's nearly go up in flames.. The smell was awful. I thought I had busted the subs.
