Default Price for Toyota Corolla 1999 - Japanese Assembled (Reg. 2007)?

In search for the used car to buy, I've been asked to check the subject car, of which I have no idea of the current market price

    1. Please assist in how much should I pay for this car?
    2. Is it worth to buy OR does it have issues?
    3. What are the things to consider when purchasing?
    4. Can it be compared to Corolla Indus 99-01?

    Thanks in advance!

    1. Please assist in how much should I pay for this car?
Should be around 700K to 900K.
    2. Is it worth to buy OR does it have issues?
It is worth to buy but why not go for Honda's or even newer model corolla. Old is no matter what u do its still OLD.
    3. What are the things to consider when purchasing?
Should be geniune (inside-out), no tempered meter, smoke free engine, driven by non-smoker, everything electric/electronic in working condition.
    4. Can it be compared to Corolla Indus 99-01?
Yes, in terms of shape only, engine wise I think most of Japan Assembled models are equipped with 1600CC Engine hence increase fuel cost.

That means, if I'm fond of old sedan, Honda City 2002 should be preferred over Toyota Corolla 1999 (Japan assembled), or is it not true?

    Thanks

Depends, HONDA cars in general are expensive in terms of maintenance. Corolla on the other is easy to maintain and every other mechanic knows about whats going on inside.

if it is completely genuine. Scratcless and highly maintained. it will cost more then 1000 k. its a great drive. Once you get a knack of it, you wont be satisfied by anyother car.

JDM models are from 1993 to 1997
this model of corolla is a wonderful car to buy, however, finding a clean one isn't an easy thing
the Japanese models have 1500cc engine
    8th Gen Mitsubishi Lancer 1.3 GLX 2006; 3rd Gen Toyota Prius 1.8 S-Touring 2010; 11th Gen Toyota Corolla 1.3 GLi AT 2014.
