i posted both statements cuz most people say abs have dual concept about it... that dual is only when it works on slippery surface not on dry one... on dry surface every expert in the world have said the same thing.....
@abdulkarim
shorter braking distance and better stearing "on slippery roads"..... u blind idoit.......

do you know how much difference ..tell me for 1.8 civic or altis if ther r with abs and without
and second option for u
example
u r going on 70km/h .....and a car comes infront of you..and you u gona hit for sure
u apply full brakes....
now with ABS what will happen
and without ABS what will happen
lets talk practically
although my point was that car is going to stop on the same distance with or without abs....
but still i try to answer this...
both depend upon driver reaction time, panic state, ect
first car with abs... if the car come infront at very short distance there will be collision b/w to cars.
if its a little distance that you were able to turn the car to one side then it will happen according to traffic situation if u steer to right and a bus or a car strike it from the side the injury will be more fatal(more then 60% chance) then deadon accident cuz the car is least protected from the side then from the front.. injury to neck, backbone, spinal cord is must cuz this side accident occur unexpectedly and body did not even 1 micro second to prepare it self for the accident.
if the car collide without abs to another car at same distance you will be alteast able to deaccelerate to almost 40km/h then the car will be reck from front wiith the driver will have 90% that it will have no or minor injuries and 10% major or fatal injuries.....
accourding to the survay 50% driver in their panic dont even focus on steering but on pushing the paddle as hard as they can.....
hope i answer your question.....

i never though u can think like that way
i said full brakes so dont things out yr self
forget about what is on left or right...just focse on 1 car infront and only you in yr car
and u have to hit hard...do u understand the word hard braking in auto language or do i have to tell you that
on ABS with hard braking
and without ABS hard braking means lockup 100% has to be done
then what will happen
