Just sharing my experience with you guys.
I have a '95 Civic EG with the 1.6L engine. It was driven daily for about 100KMs and sometimes even 200KMs. 80KMs was the minimum. The car is so reliable that even if I start it after a whole week, it starts with ease. We always had the oil changed before 3000KMs, the sparkplugs changed at 20,000KMs etc... The car never overheated. Now the car is driven 293,000KMs and the engine is still at almost 100% compression, had it checked from Honda Center Peshawar Road. The car did start to reduce oil a bit at 200,000KMs but the engine was and still is strong.
One day, my dad thought the car's engine had finally lost its strength when the car felt very underpowered. We took it to Honda, they changed the clutch plate and the catalytic converter and the car was fixed. According to Honda Center mechanics, engine overhauls don't last more than 100,000KMs and that's when you maintain it properly. I did ask them regarding overhauling of my Civic's engine when I didn't had a compression test done, they said that its better to swap the engine. The cost of the overhaul was around 90k (3 months ago) with the clutch plate and some other things. My advice is that you should always change the oil at 3000KMs from Honda Center. Have the oil filter changed at 6000KMs.
I do hope that you're engine lasts another 200,000KMs and it will InshAllah with proper care.
