Hi,
I have been following the thread for a long time silently and really appreciate the way that people help each other out on this forum.
My problem is that I got a 2006 manual iDSI around 2 months ago with CNG.
In the start it gave me around 150-170 KM in the city with 99-100% AC on level 2 atleast.
Similarly on Petrol it gave me ~17 KML
However for the last month or so, it has started showing the reserve light for CNG at around ~100 KM and similarly on petrol it is giving me around 12 KML with 50% AC max at level 2, with otherwise similar driving conditions.
Milage on the Odometer: 70,000
Oil Change: 68,000
Oil & Air Filter Change: Same as above (Guard)
Oil Change Date: Just after purchase (in Ramzan)
TB Cleaning & Plugs Change: Not Done by me yet and no maintenance history is available.
Driving Style: No Inner City Driving, Mainly Canal & associated areas only + a couple of times to the airport. I normally shift the gear between 2300-2500 and have seen no difference in mileage/consumption when shifting at 2000-2200.
During the Eid Holidays, its silencer got struck and some thing got dislocated and it started producing boom sounds and I got it repaired from a local shop. One of the pipes was dislocated, (it was a ironish looking after market piece, nearly under the driver seat, while the rest of the silencer assembly was silverish). The guy said that this piece was also previously repaired/replaced and that I should get it welded electrically as the normal gas welding is not good for steel and it might again get dislocated but I haven't gotten around to getting that done.
Can you suggest what could be the problem and how to go about resolving it.
