Thanks Shozi, some more OEM Honda Civic alloy rims:
IMHO the third one would look absolutely astounding on Fahad's black Civic
I think you should not remove them. The ones in this particular model go with the shape and style. Their size and shape is perfect. So, I personally think they add a lot to the overall grace of a vehicle. The car would lose it once they are gone, specially the rear ones.
Yar mat mari gai hai. I'm the impulsive kind of shopper and make decisions very quickly, but jab bhai market jata hoon samajh nai aati kya karun. Rockmars or Dellson? Nav or without Nav? Yar my mind is about to explode. Thats why kabhi steering cover lay ata hun tu kabhi Marlboro chik raha hota hun
Now these are some Kick As$ RIMS.
This one is also from Rackmars. It looks like the one in 2011 Oriel.
^^ I am confused about Chinese units...
My understanding is there are two companies that are building Civic specific unit; Shenzhen Cusp Technology and FOXWAY LIMITED Rockmars I think is just a re-skinned thing from one of these; and I guess its an older version. Foxway has three units; two of them looks good. The one you are mentioning is also of Foxway but its for left hand drive. I wrote to them and have got a ready made reply; not very informative. I specifically asked in the email that do we have the same thing but for right hand drive; there is no information provided; in the email they just told for right hand drive their product is the one whose picture I provided earlier
I checked the two commonly available units namely Rockmars and Dellson. People, the UI (User Interface) of Rockmars is slightly better in terms of skin but display of Dellson is better. My guess is that probably Dellson's display sports more pixels. Specs are not available so I can't obviously comment. Rest features are almost same.
I think you should make up your mind; what you want out of indash unit and why you want to replace the Kenwood unit. Kenwood is not that bad
Do you have any idea regarding the prices of these units?
Honda's OEM SATNAV also comes with 5.1 Speakers and Tweeters. Its a whole package in 78,000 and sound quality is pretty decent and crispy.
Okay, made up my mind......This is a distress SOS call.....Oriel 6-CD In Dash changer needed.....almost new condition........ANYONE???
Its no longer in 78k my friend, its 85k (3S Honda North) Frankly, I was trying to get myself convinced over the Rockmars thing but couldn't. OEM is OEM and hopefully would serve me better.
Okay Pakwheelers, tomorrow I'm getting the tints, wrap around n stitch the steering wheel cover, Viper plates, may remove the plastic wrappers from the seats etc insha Allah. I may get some snaps, a video maybe.
No need to get rockmars. Install Oriel Indash mp3 changer and get some high end speakers if you're a music freak. N you're good to go.
But the only thing you will be missing is "reverse camera"It has greatly minimised the rate of "scratches/dents" on my 2010 Oriel Pros with OEM navigation. Its a need in this car since one cannot really judge what exactly is behind by even looking turning your head.
