Assalamualaikum everyone!
My dad just got a 2012 Civic Vti Prosmatec in Silver yesterday! Really happy with the car. But needed a quick tyre suggestion. The size I would go for is the stock 195/65. But the most popular/heard of tyres are as follows:
I've myself seen alot of civics with advan db tyres. But would like a suggestion from you guys.Help would be appreciated
michelin Energy savers , best tyres!!!
i'd say yoko db advan!! michilens are good but the energy saver isnt really the "michelin" standard... yoko db advan is super grippy, super quite and very comfortable...
Yokohama Advan DBBought last week for my city, awesome road grip and 0 road noise!!!
Yokohama Advan db v551 205/65-R15(try to find fresh import of 2012 only)Enjoy the ride.....
yoku advan db are great tires ...
Could anyone please tell me the place in Lahore to get Advan DB fresh 2012 tires. I have checked in Nila Gumbad, tires are available at J Rashid and at some others but manufacturing date is of 2011.

From where did you bought tires and price for 195/65/R15 ? Was it of 2012 ?
For Advan, dB - Tyre Tracks, Main Faisal Town, Lahore. I got 195/60-15 (2012) for my City. It was Rs 10,500 per piece. 195/65-15 is easily available in the market, so shouldn't be that expensive. BOL

Thanx Nouman for the info, i will check them IA.
The Price you mentioned seems to be high , as Advan DB of size 195/65/r15 was about 8500-8800 per tyre in Nela Gumbat.
I think ADVAN DB is quite expensive than the Michelin Energy saver (difference of atleast 2000/tyre).. correct me if i am wrong
Why change brand new tyres the stock tires are pretty good these days. Wont you end up selling these cheaply paying money for an older production tire .
You will get 195/65-15 in around 8.5-9k. The price of 195/60-15 is a little higher as it is not easily available in the market.
Thanks for the suggestion guys! I have now opted for the Yoko Advan DB tyres. But one more question. Are these tyres grippy on wet surfaces? And are they softer than the stock Euro Star? Cuz I found these tyres quite hard, and they don't deal with bumps in the road quite well.
The stock tyres are really hard and a lot of people, including me, find them really hard!
Dude you should go for Dunlop Digi Tyre ECO in 195/65 R15 size for your Honda Civic VTi Prosmatec!!!
They are great tyres from DUNLOP for mid sized sedans and deal well with bumpy roads as they are very soft tires!!!
I have installed them in my City ASPIRE 2012 and i just love them...Running perfectly and giving no issues at all!!! :):)
michelin's are expensive than DB advan!!michelin's tag is 10k and yoko Db advan is 8.8k!
Hmm... I'll have a look at those as well. Thanks for the suggestion!
