That's a wonderful idea. I will think about it to work it out if I could do it in some way without compromising the looks

Though I am personally not fond of body kits, but this sort of a thing can be done easily. Replace the square light at the bottom with a similar square aftermarket fog light, and fit it with an HID

Yes. Very true.
Or if I buy this and I ask my kid to turn on this from the rear speakers area
What about when ure driving alone, or the kid is asleep or not in the mood?
We can securing it there some way with rear head rest with an extended switch on the front
Looks like you are really serious with the rear HID idea
How about HIDs as the reverse light? Install a switch for turning it on manually, plus you get more lighting in the back when reversing in dark areas.
Yes. I am. I travel on motorway M1 at least four times a month. And at M1 there is no police ticket for full beam driving.
There is on M2 though
It will melt the light housing as rear lights are not meant for such temperatures
Good point. Though I saw a few videos on YouTube demonstrating this.
Projector light, You can get different type of logos or custom image also.

I didn't like the door projectors how ever the auto dimming rear view is very much on the cards after your suggestion. Will find one soon.
I am little confused about the wire routing from the mirror. How will that be done. I don't want it to look like an after market altered fitting.
i will check.
