Hey guys,
I'm wondering what kind of mileage everyone's getting from their 1600cc cars. I have a 97 Vti & am trying to determine whether the gas consumption is alright or not.
Currently it's doing around 12.5 km's per KG of CNG. So can everyone with 1600cc cars post their mileage/KG of CNG? Thanks.
perfectly alright - you are getting good mileage
i had Se saloon 2003 MANU - its mileage was 11 - 12 KMs per KG within City and approx 22-23 KMs per KG on Highway
(both cases AC ON)
Hmmm thanks, i forgot to mention this is without AC obviously since it's winter. My car is on 15" wheels as well.
seems reasonable..
yaar i think it 12.5 is less. Through my experience. petrol's per litre avg. should also be 12.5 whats the use of cng then
Is it a MANU or NA-MANU ?
I agree with you !
na maan
Hi everyone,
I have a Toyata 1600cc Efi engine in my Corona 1986 model and it is giving me 16+ kms in one kg of CNG. I guess compared to ur mileage, its great.
It's manual. I'm also thinking it's a little less than it's supposed to be. So i'm looking for comparisons from people owning 1600cc cars.
i m getting 12.5/kg within city &17/kg on highwaywith my honda civic vti 1600cc.
So that's pretty similar to my car, what year is your civic? I recently put in Bosch 4 tip plugs, new air filter, got tappets adjusted, tuning etc. So maybe this is the best a 13 year old engine can do?
my civiv is 2006 manual
around 150 km with 6kg.. things gettin expensive
Takko,
That means you're getting 25km/kg?! Wow, what car do you have?
i have a vti auto and it has 55kg cylinder and i get 80km once refill the cylinder..is it alright? plz advise
80 km is very very less..
how much should it be then ? and what should i do ? what could be wrong with my car? please advice.thanks
Anything above 19km per kgon petrol above 13km per litrethese should be optimum values in Islamabad.
fada,
19km/kg is very ambitious for city driving. I think it would only be possible on the motorway or long routes in a 1600cc car.
