A new car even a suzuki is better than any old car on any given day of the year. So if you do not need boot space, go for brand new cultus or santro. Daewoo cars came only on efi, there are no carb daewoo cars, one that have the carb are those with swapped engines. Daewoo is a 1.6 car so no comparison with older 1.3 cars such as huyandai excel, margalla etc. Moreover racing older cars with carb or partial efi like daewoo, performance depends upon engine tuning. So even if margalla won from some other car on monday, its not necessary that it will win again on tuesday from same car but with a better tuned engine. No suzuki can be compared to toyota or honda.

guys if you are comparing 1300 CC cars try Lancer once. Mine's a 1995 and I prefer it over buying a new dink donk suzuki !!! and try the new mitsubishi Lancer or Galant I am sure you will simply forget honda or Toyota. By the way my second choice would certainly be a honda. Pakistani toyota is nothing short of a scum bag

Mitsu is a good company, but still I take stand that there is nothing like new car even new suzuki is better than second hand cars, imagin buying a car with hidden engine troubles, worn out valves, which u can not see, weak pistion which u can not detect untill car starts eating oil up. Hidden creaks and noises, shocks nearing their life. Pull at high speeds, many other faults which u can not detect. But a new car even suzuki comes with warranty

imagine buying a bran new yo yo (suzuki) with deformed pillers, undone screws (cause the Tiffa assembling it went to pee or smoke) and forgot all about it. Imagine the fuel pump leaking in 2 months, the suspension crying uncle in 6 months, the tires needing replacement from day one, the seats made by Sheeda Lukar Wala (carpenter), the instrument panel going bazuka any time and most importanly even after spending 6 lacks you still have a soooo zuuuu kiiii instead of a car.

If these thing still happens in 2 months and 6 months as u have said then there is always that little thing called warranty . Moreover I noticed that this topic was about old suzuki and now we are talking against a new suzuki. Anyways I know many who bough a suzuki and I myself have a 2004 mehran along with civic 2004,daewoo and sunny 87. And have found it to be very reiable and smooth even on cng.
