Question IS CNG suitable for EFI Mehran

I have recently purchased Mehran EFI, have any body installed CNG on new efi mehran, if yes what is mileage, is there any problem faced by vehicle, what is cost of Landy ranzo kit and 45/55 cylinder. Is it successful. Is any special precaution / care required if CNG installed on efi mehran.

On every forum Govt. , car makers and Media condemn the use of CNG in vehicles, u live in lahore where the big ? is on availibility of CNG in future. the amount u want to spend on CNG setup can equlizes its own value by savings in approx 2 years. + u have to spend and face more wear and tear and maintaince + ur valuable time (spend on cng pump que). its better to run on fuel for what ur car made.

    @OP
thousands of EFi cars are running on CNG...no big deal.

    plus points are:
    1) its economical. On CNG well tuned Mehrans can easily give almost double the mileage that of petrol. Big advantage.
    2) it diversifies your fuel options. So if one is not available, you can use the other.

    problems are:
    1) availability of CNG itself.
    2) you got to spend money on installation of kit/cylinder.
    3) additional 50 kg load.
    4) compromised hatch/boot space.

most probably it is suitable cz all the cars like civic, corola, city, baleno, liana, cultus, etc. are EFi, and almost all works fine on CNG.
and mehan is also EFi now, so cng should work fine.

2-3 days ago, i saw a Mehran EFi Euro-II being converted to CNG,
the installer was saying that landirenzo kit is for 54k Pkr with 50ltr cylinder.

I asked some CNG Conversion centres, They told me that the cost is between 50k to 55k. Also, Pak suzuki warranty of car will void as you convert to cng. I heard from one of the guy who converted his mehran efi that its mileage is about 20/kg.

EFI would already give you better mileage. Why you are going for CNG conversion and wait for hours in lines for CNG.

first of all you should decide that where u want to drive mehran in local or long route.....
EFI is best in local and long(in avg speed)
CNG give avg mileage in local but it best for long route.
