Salam
Today i was pulled over by traffic police and after showing them all the possible documents they asked me whether my CNG cylinder was checked for safe functionality after 5 years. Since my car model is 2007, he said that a challan would be applicable. But after some persuation he let me go without paying a penny. So my question is that does traffic police has the authority to fine some one over not having their CNG cylinders checked ??? This is the first time I have heard someone this.
I guess they have the right to fine as recently a law was passed regarding CNG cylinders
