Reply By : lowresolution on 9/17/2009 7:10:32 PM @Intoxicated I have been using Caltex Havoline Formula , change it after every 1000 Km , never had problems .. /tbody/table @lowresolution 1000kms that is way too low Tatsuru Ichishima of Spoon Sports has stated that oil should be changed b/w 3000-4000kms on Type R engines and OEM engine oil is adequate for Honda Type R engines , on the other hand Tsuchiya san suggests that 6-8k is okay. but the main emphasis was on transmission oil , which is very important and should be changed as frequent as engine oils. it is all covered in the BMI(best motoring international) VTEC club vol 2. view the video for more info http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ATk8...om=PL&index=21 tiny_mce_marker thank you
