NOTE: Only 2009 Corolla Owners

Discuss the problems that you have faced with your 2009 new corolla. I am not here to solve them but let's see how many 2009 corolla owners are satisifed with their car. Only Corolla owners comments will be accepted not honda fan boys or anti-corolla peoples.

[toofast edit] This is not a Corolla/Civic comparison thread. This thread will help future car buyers. I would recomemend same type of threads for Civic, Baleno or any other car owners too. All Civic or non Corolla owners please stay out of this thread. i will delete any stupid/unrelated replies from this thread. We need input from current gen. Corolla owners only. Thanks

nice thread i bought xli in last 10 days of ramzan was not a toyota corrolla fan always had civic and vitzz as my routine day to day ride but after buying 09 xli .Which Changed my view shape is decent and drive is not that bad at all i installed michelline tyres with altis rims changed the back lights with led 1 only driven 120 kms n my ride got snatched that was the only problem i faced as black corollas are very hot these days was insured n traker installed but as soon as it got snacthed traker was jammed as cause theyused jammers but luckily i got it back from sarjani town it was heading towards balochistan luckily the signals of jammers drop for a minute and traker people locked the car.So all xli glis n altis owners be carefull as corollas are the most targeted cars by the snatchers these days

Dont sell your Corolla X but if you want then go for Corolla GLi (as it has ABS)

As owner of GLI, I have noticed following issues

1) The car seems under power. In city travel so much of gear changing is required.

2) The door silver interior's paint work wears off.

3) Though steering is telescopic but it is never in the best position. I feel major difference when I sit in my Corolla 95 or Premio.

4) At high speed <100 the car steering has a numb feeling.

5) Since the body sheet is low category so if it rains it has tin sound.

6) Similarly if you switch from Japanese brand like me, you always think some window is open because road noise is much inside.

Positive:

It is much better than the previous models and overall a good car. Shape is good as well so people think it is okay for this price. Thats why we are seeing it much on road now.
