i have corrola XLI 2009, last month i got cng installed and later came to know that they guy didnt install advancer.. he told that its not must in it?? my car seems to have v low pick n high consumption..is it coz of advancer not there??? should i get advancer installed now??? n wat is the working of advancer

hi gyq brother,
i hv honda civic 2000 auto. when i shift gear N to D4, RPM drops from 800 to 200 and car stops, also have not good pick up on CNG, pls help

fyq kindly suggest a suitable advancer for Civic Exi Prosmatec. Currently using Neotac MAP 11. The pick up is pathetic and gear shifts with jerk

Dear All,

I have marghallah 1998 and have been running it on CNG from year 2000. She is quite well. Now i experienced a very new problem.

The patrol in the patrol tank became just dirty with a very bad smell. Also it became sticky to such extent that it jammed the fuel pump in patrol tank. I got my tank cleaned with replacement of fuel pump.

SAme thing happened again within 30 to 40 days again making patrol dirty and spoiling fuel pump.

I have been told one theory by the car mechanic that your CNG is mixing in patrol. However they have no solution. My CNG mechanic denies this theory and suggests to have new patrol tank.

Does any one ezperienced the same? Please give possible solutions if any.

i have vitz 2002 a/t nice car on petrol but i am having problem on cng as i just bought a month ago and car was one owner and carefully driven already had cng.
is this a problem in vitz a/t on cng? or my car need tuning or
what?

Hi

Fyq, got a problem with my CNG.

I have Lancer 2005 4G13

Tesla CNG KIT with their emulator and advancer.

50 KG Cylinder.

THE PROBLEM

When ever I fill up CNG to full pressure the car starts stalling/shutting down on cng when idling. After running 40 to 45 KMs the problem goes away. This is ture when ever I fill up, in the morning or evening or any time of day. I have tried filling up from different gas stations. Got the CNG kit serviced from tesla but the problem is still there.

hi rececntly i had cng installed in my 2006 vitz , it running prefectly but im disturbed by one thing , when i start the car it starts on pertrols idles for a few seconds on petrol and then turns off , if i start and press the acclerator then it changes over to cng . i think it should stay on petrol and then change over to cng buut instead it just shuts off can anyone give me any suggestions. i had it checked by 2 mechanics and they say just keep giving it race when u turn the ignitaion it is no serios issue. Any suggestions as if this is normal behaviour or shall i have i checked again.

its normal, when you shift from petrol to cng it takes some time for the gas to flow through the pipes into the engine. when the car starts to convert just press the throttle a little it will not turn off.

I recently purchased Khyber 1998. It is doing 85 Km per cylinder(7 kg of gas). Normally, Khyber does 125-130 km per cylinder. Please advise where the problem lies.

my khyber 95 has done 200+ in one cylinder once, on mostly long route

In islamabad, its 40-45 km/kg of gas.

-my clutch needs to be replaced

-plug wires' resistance is out of service limit, had to change

-too many cold starts

still getting this milage

i think i am a lucky one........

Can someone please confirm, is Vitz 2005 is no good with CNG. I heard it cannot be run on CNG and ruins the engine. IS it true?
