i had a cultus.... i thought of geting the engine swaped..... i did a good research and came to the conclusion that suzuki engines and parts here in pakistan sucks big time and have big issues... i met to ppl who had done this and they said me tht buddy of u want peace of mind then dnt take panga with a suzuki, 15 din gari workshop main khari ho gi or 15 din chalao ***....
the person with the green khyber too changed his head once or twice. so after this conclusion i sold my car three months back for 470,000. now i am buying a honda 95 and will swap its engine. i am a big cultus fan. and i love suzuki power. but unfortunatly suzuki sucks big time in Pakistan.... |

@shezy suzuki dosent suks big tym in pak ...they r providing a decently{or rather just a bit above decent} priced cars to moslty midlle class n lower popullation ....i knw the materials used and the stability and life + the popularity of their product is not tht gud but still ...u have options over them so use them and make up ur opportunity cost ..
2 nd thing a g13b 16v dohc is perfect for cultus both physically and financially given the tym required and thought.... projects lyk these are very satisfactory to the 1s bearing them... remember 1 thing bro the lyf or stability of a car or a clean swap depends on 2 factors{which are dependent upon consumers point of view or lyking ... 1 is the clean swap or the clean n better management of the car 2 is the driving style or i would rather say how the car or the swapped engine is kept oh ya and these days i would rather add 1 more factor which is bomb explosions and in this factor not only suzuki but all manufacturer suffer ..xd. @obaid go for g13 and keep it simple n na ...dont go for turbos for the tym being becoz u lack the experience n knowledge ...u l prob end up with too many lil probs 1 more thing any 1 here knws where can 1 get led back lyts or front projectors for cultus

I would add one thing about Cultus VXRi 08. It gives me 160-170 Km on a full tank of CNG on motorway with AC and 4 other people sitting in the car. E.g. I got my tank filled up before getting onto motorway in Islamabad, and then got it refilled at Sukheki (red dot!)
I drive around 55-65 Km each day on Rs. 100 CNG in Lahore each day in the same car. I've got up to 150 Km/h on motorway. It does 140 without much problems on a long enough stretch of road and I have taken it up to 160 Km/h on motorway. Normally, I take it up to 120-130 km/h coming home from work on Canal. All this on CNG. I do get my car tuned at Suzuki 3S dealer (Madni motors) only. Though I've got the oil change etc. done at other places. Last time I got the car tuned at 10,000 Kms. No problems so far, Alhamdulillah. I've even had a major accident in the same car. Entire front-right side was re-built by Suzuki Khalid Motors, again 3S. But they are "chores" and put in used bearings and some other stuff in the wheel assembly. I had to get those replaced. So far, I've found Suzuki Madni motors to be the best. Although they do try to rip you off by doing things you haven't asked them to e.g. they were about to replace my Oil, when I had only asked them to tune the engine. Hope this was helpful to the guy going up to 115 km/h only in his cultus? |

well i agree to shakir zahid to some extent.... i know tht whole class thingy and i guess its fiar enough from a business point of view but still mate compared to other brands in pakistan suzuki is not doing good... the self life of there car is not good... its just tht u do not get a full worth of ur money over a good period of time. anyways its a long debate and lets not get into an argument which has no end... anyways
i guess till now this guy would have done something abt his cultus, but as i mentioned above i did the market research and did not asked from ppl.. doing a research and making a decision is better than asking from ppl. i went to every market of lahore and pindi as they were only reachble to me... i only found one g13b in lahore which was also used from japan as in not in good condition and it did not had complete sensors...and everyone knows a G13b is no good without sensors... and these sensors are not available ion market like easily... so if u manage to buy a complete setup and after some time somehow God forbiden a sensor is gone then u will have to kill ur engine as no senors are avaible and no one sells only the sensor from a complete engine. if u think tht many parts of baleno are interchangable from G13b even then there are still thigns u can not change or find in lahore or pindi market.... as i said a G13b user said tht please dnt get into this mess and just buy a honda and get something from B series and enjoy...tht guy is too now driving a B18 engine in a black civic 95... so do the thinking ur self now tht is g13b better or any other thing... and please dnt even think of geting 4E-FTE into suzuki... take care everybody and drive responsibly |
