Default Pics: Cars and Coffee, October 24th

1032hp Porsche 996 Turbo. This car got up to 221mph at the Texas Mile event a few days ago. The car looked standard but the sound was anything but.

@kahmed

i am trying to figure out how to make perf car road legal before i decide what i want. people here sometimes confuse me. someone said toyota 20v engine cannot pass smog test so my idea of building 6speed BT ae101 for regular street use fell back in my head.

Yeah you've got to worry about smog in MA. Thankfully Michigan doesn't require smog tests. I'm sure there are ways to get around it. Won't a 4AG with individual throttle bodies suffice?

On a side note, just drove the 4-door Porsche Panamera 4S...what an incredible machine.

I just saw pics of the TransAm on CarandDriver.com, it looks ok. I think they could've done a much better job. Here's the link to the gallery: http://www.caranddriver.com/news/car..._shows/gallery

Nick

I think the cars were pretty much stock, except for one that was supercharged.

LOL! Thnx anyways.. :p

Yeah...They could've done a much better job by keeping the Camaro..a Camaro!

There were some nice two wheelers last time I was there.

Here is the equivalent on four wheels:

@kahmed

yea in MA i am having bit of a problem, this is not the typical usa i expected to be but for kids needs we decided to end up here.
living in usa is much easier than living in MA,lol but here we get some useful tax benefits

for daily driver ae101 would had been ok for me. no turbo problems to worry abt. lsd gives a nice stable drive.

but a 4 runner is also one of my interest because difficult drivenconditions in certain areas outside cities in winter. i am still analyzing otherwise mk3 supra and a cressida was one of great choices but both rwd that's why i hestiated by jumping into those deals.

Well, if the cars were really that farigh, I'd probably be tempted to pass the time, but then again, this being CnC, care are NEVER farigh!
