Is there are Z car in Lahore that can be used as a project car?
any idea on how much would it cost. i want to restore one.
or a 240z??
Dear I think it will be hard to find a Datsun 250Z or a 240z one for your project. I have gone through internet to get a reasonable answer for your requirement, but unfortunately no answer was relevant to my query. Actually if you require a used car of Datsun, then you can have it for near about 2 lakhs. Apart from this source, I don't think that any right source can be found to get a car for your project.
I think the best restored one is owned by @neurosurgeon - you can contact him and ask if he's willing to part with it. Thought I wouldn't fancy your chances.
hmmmm. i was thinking to get a project car. i dont want a car in good or pristine condition.
Neuro surgeon's car is in good shape.
There are a few more right here in Lahore but am afraid none of them will really serve your purpose. The pictures are FYI
You can read more about this set on the Japanese classic cars thread started by Sawan345.good luck with your search
Sir, is any of these two for sale?
yar classic hai koi nai baichta.
they have made these cars with their hearts and they are dear to them.
price hoi bhee to kafiiii high ho gi.
last one (silver) is 280z it duznt have the awesome looks of the 240 or 260.
I wonder how and where do they find these kind of cars and then work on them.
As I'm never able to find any.
There was one yellow 260z (with 'DUKE' registration plates) up for grabs a few years back, I went to see it physically as well. Was a perfect project car, I wonder where it went.
No, am afraid not.
the 280ZX is very underrated as it lacks the purity of the 240 but nevertheless is a very characterful car also. This one is a T-top so is great fun with the tops out in the winter sun
is it for sale?
no, it's not.
the 280 belongs to one of the owners of monnoo group
No, this is not that car. The one you are referring to is a 2+2, a 4 seater.
there was a maroon T-top 280 in Karachi up for sale in 2010 (demand 400k). LHD with original engine. Didnt have any money. Then the car vanished
Pity! In today's car prices, would have been quite a bargain, esp being a t-top.
//youtu.be/EO2y_-vpolA260Z was only offered for one year 1974, IMHO early Z's "70-72" are much sought after because they were lightweight. This one is a 1970 with Rebello built engine (www.rebelloracing.com). I know you are looking to buy one but in the mean time have a listen
As per my knowledge, the "260" in both two-seater and 2+2 form was offered from late 1973 to late 1978 when the "280ZX" was introduced. There was even a "280Z" for the US market. I myself owned a 1977 260 for a while.
