Hahaha... No you shouldn't feel guilty at all. Mai to Laadli k jiye jaag raha tha.
Actually, staying awake is not an issue, but getting up early is... Normally I don't get up early but today I had to, so that I could visit Sultan ka Khu!
And the exploration, yes... It was an interesting and disappointing experience. I'll tell why.
The place is known as Mong Kok and it is no where near to Sultan ka Khu! That place is just legendary!! It was more like an LED market. You can see almost every thing for the car but with one or more LEDs on it. :S If chrome is the blingg blingg in US, LEDs are a blingg blingg for the Chinese.
I asked for a Red Honda logo and the sales girl showed me one. It was indeed red but a glittered one. :o Language being the barrier, I downloaded the pictures in my mobile so that I can show them and ask and it helped to some extent but the main thing is that the prices were just insane! Like, if I am living in HK and have a car over here and I want to put something in it, then its fine. I'd be earning in HKD and spending in HKD but when I was doing an approximated conversion by adding a zero at the end of every amount, the first thing that used to come to my mind was WTF! If I have to bring it back to Pakistan then that's not wise. Specially spending on these tiny things.
Just imagine what would you say if you find just a cover with an indicator for the side mirrors of Honda Civic for PKR 12000/- :-# And a simple digital clock for PKR 4200/-
So After visiting a couple of "decoration" shops, I stopped asking about anything for my car as it was exertion and nothing else. There was just one shop where I found a proper English speaking man who came to me and asked, "Hello Sir, how may I help you?" and when I said do you have the side mirrors of 2009 Honda Civic he said me with a strange smile on his face, Oh! No Sir! Sorry, we don't sale any parts for Japanese cars. :-! Khair, I found the reason of his good english.
I however kept on looking for the speakers that you asked me. I will check them again once you mail me the pictures for reference. According to my understanding, what I saw there are:
This was a set of 5.1 with a couple of mini amps.
I'd check again after seeing the reference pictures.
Now, the actual Sultan ka Khu kinda place is very far from my home. I can reach Shenzhen in less time than reaching that place in HK. All the scrap and junk yards are located over there. I'll go there some other day with having plenty of time and an authentic person with me. I am sure they'll have parts for the "Japanese" cars.
Chalo, all was good. At least now I know which place one should not look for.
