Toyota indus isn't doing any break in/run in for the engine. Even they don't do alignment and balancing. That is corrected by the dealership. Due to so many bookings they don't have time for that. You really need to do break in. My car was giving 14.7km/l on 100km/h on the very first day when I got the delivery and travelled all the way from Rahim yar khan to Lahore, after doing some run in techniques after 300kms it was giving 15.8km/l and now it gives 17-18km/l on 100km/h with cruise on. You need to do proper engine run in in first 2000km for all corolla variants.
2nzfe upto 1300km
1zrfe or 2zrfe upto 1800km
When engine will breath properly, you will know that it needed run in big time
Everything needs run in, even new tyres. People in Pak have real less knowledge about this.
