I just bought brand new corolla Grande 1.8 CVTi and it no 100KM on ODO. My question is, Can I stress out my corolla below 1000km mark? I mean to ask that can I drive my new car at high speed like 160km/h or 180km/h for checking purpose that how does it perform? As it's not done 1000km yet. Please Guide me on this. Thanks
enjoy your new car with speed 60 to 80 km/h for 1000km....than after servicing you can your car performance
The servicing done at 1000kms do not include any engine or drive terrain performance optimization. So the components that will take part in sprinting the car to higher speeds will have same performance as before.
Be careful in your driving.
@memad Thanks buddy, that means I'd have no problem stressing my new car's engine like at speeding above 160KM/H. I also heard that now new engines are already stressed by testing them on dyno. So I can test its performance at higher speed even right now, Am I right memad? And yes I'll drive carefully memad don't worry I just need to test its pick and speed.
It is mentioned in the manual that the engine should run on variable speeds in the beginning. A few high speed sprints are ok.
The safety should be the first priority.
Dont forget to fasten ur seat belts mate
Just a request.....Its better not to test drive your car at 160 or 180 Km/h for your own safety. Mash Allah you got new car, so don't worry about its performance.
Drive safe
It's good to wait for 1000 kms
