Yes it's a problem when the same it doesn't do in front of the mechanic . For that I use cell to make its video of the problem when at home. That shall help.
I drove 05 Corolla (2NZ-FE non vvti) for 134,000 kms not a single sound from engine. Corolla timing chains last forever, never heard anyone broke or replaced it.
Bro I have Gli 1.6 2012.... when i start it in the morning, with self it produce grrrrrr sound for a very short instnt.. then when i put it in drive gear and accelerate it, on driver side there comes a dim grrrrr sound.. but it only happens when i move in 20-30 speed.. in higher speed it is ok.. no other problem e.g vibration or rpm rise drop everything is fine..can u help me locating fault??

Timing chain is replaced when engine is overhauled after 400,000 km or so. Timing belt is not fitted on most cars, however, it has a life of 100,000 km.
