Hi Guys,
Today i tried a DIY, my car's AC water was leaking into the cabin, it had filled the whole floor, so i had to remove the carpet and under-laying insulation
So i was lookin through the forums i saw that Jumbolon is a good Insulating agent so i tried insulating the floor with 10mm Jumbolon..
Pics are attached, sorry for the bad quality pics
Getting the Jumbolon to Stick was the hardest part ..
Bought the Jumbolon, 10mm at 14Rs per Square Foot, and 12mm for the hood and trunk (i have plans to insulate them too ) for 17 rupees per square foot.
The seats had to be removed and the old insulation and stuff as well
Cut up the jumbolon according to size...
I'll be putting the carpet back inside after washing it tomorrow, and the seats and other fittings will go after that... also thinking of removing the amplifier from under the seat to the Trunk (behind the back seat with screws)... because if the water problem comes again, it might short-circuit the amplifier
Please do comment, where i went wrong, and did i miss anything? or is there some place which needs more insulation, or anything as such
