After successful cosmetic restoration of a 1912 Merryweather Fire Engine in Peshawar, the second one which is believed to be a 1916 model has been brought to the make shift workshop in University Town Peshawar. I along with a small team shall soon start work on it and I 'll keep posting pictures showing progess regularly.
I would appreciate any information or feedback that you may want to give. Work is expected to start from the end of this month.

@ madhouse, kamee4u, Titanium, asadsethi, Alee1, aliusman2, Punk and Imran. Thanks guys. Romano willl be assisting me in this project as he did on the last one.
some more pics to put on record the 'before' state.
Tyres will be a big headache as these had solid tyres which are niot available anymore. On the last project, two tyres had been badly worn and we had great difficulty in getting them retreaded..these fire engines are massively heavy and the retreaded tyres i.e. a layer of solid rubber over the original solid tyres could not bear the weight....tyres on this one are totally gone...lets see what we can do with them.
Can't wait to see other Merryweather up and running, good luck with the restoration Mohsin uncle.
yar this kinda solid tyres are used on tongas. those guys may be able to help u
wow
Another excellent thread by Mohsin bhai,
Subscribed. Would you be hopping to and from Peshawar while doing this project??? Watching with utmost interest how the resto goes. Are the mechanical parts complete on this one??
Superb!
sir i must commend you on this great task you are undertaking, it is definitely not an easy job restoring such cars.
ive restored my 1964 chevrolet impalla with the supervision of an unqualified mechanic due to less experience, it hasnt turned out as wanted...its been 4 years and i've still not been able to start my 1934 Austin.
