Dear fellows!
I want to share my anxiously awaited project with you people. This is a 93 model EH8 civic commonly referred to as the EG. I bought this car about a year and half ago. I searched a lot before picking this car. My priority was to get a car that must have a sunroof, must be clean and unabused, if any thing is damaged or missing I will replace or buy for it.With the sunroof included the options were very limited for this model of car available in Pakistan. On the other hand most of this shape car are badly riced. So it was a difficult decision to pick one of these. Finally I bought one which was in good acceptable shape, non accidental and with proper documentation.
Aim of the project:
To fully restore the car, with neat and fresh looks. Restoration with JDM/OEM parts and installation of all optional items that were ever offered in this model.
Milestones of the project:
I am looking forward for the valuable comments of all the fellow members regarding the restoration of this car.Following are few initial pictures of the car.
Regards
BOL with the project car looks neat and clean......
Best of Luck with your project bro - looking forward to it
If i were u , i would've used the oem sedan bumper , added a Mugen lip with sedan fog lamps - Looks awesomeI know its pretty hard to find such stuff these days neways once again B.O.LAnd if ur unable to find parts from isloo , pm me i'll try to help u out

Thanks FarhanAnwarKhan and Badpigs for the nice comments.....

Regards

In my opinion the EG6 bumper and bonnet gives an aggressive look to the car. Beside I am using the EG6 fenders and bonnet with this bumper so it will look clean, tidy and all the three will mate properly with each other.
Brother I will stay in touch with you, if I am unbale to find any part over here or if you have got something special for me....
^Then its OK , a complete 2/3dr front should be appealing and YES , u'll have to stay in touch with Members from Peshawar aswell to get JDM goodies
and BTW loved the color , my ef is under restoration process atm and the colour is pretty similar to urs
The color is "Pewter Grey" (grey with a slight reddish tone), sometimes I like it sometimes I don't :S. Tell me should I change this color or keep it the same. I personally like the darker shade of grey, don't know its exact name but that's a very common color of EG8 (Ferio) otherwise Black or White.
If u intend to completely change the color of the car , only then change it - i chose TOYOTA's 1A6 shade for my Ef , dark and elegant
and ur looking for a darker shade like this ? am i right ?
good luck with the project. I will try my best to help you out. Please go for an expensive paint job rest can be added later
Yes exactly this color.....what's your opinion about it?At the moment I have fully dismantled the car, no sunroof, no window glasses, no front and back glass, no mouldings , only carpet is left and that's too deliberately just because the floor don't get damage. In the end the carpet will also be replaced with a new one. In short the car is ready to accept any color. Like you did with your EG I m too advised not to color the interior and the engine bay :(. But at the same moment I don't like engine bay and the interior in one color and rest of the car in other color. Please guide me.
Thanks HAshims for showing your concern. Yes it will be expensive and best quality paint.Regards
good luck bro for project EG is looking clean but restore her btw any stuff u need for her let me know too itna contacts to hoo he gy hain good luck

Bro it all depends on ur choice , it depends upon the type of restoration ur looking for - the simpler the betterNow that u have stripped of the car , u have a gr8 chance to give it an all new look completely U can even remove the carpet to check the floor's conditionUr project seems that u'll be keeping it for long terms, if so, then go for a complete re-paintKeep in mind that painting a car is not something a person can do everyday - go for good quality once and for allRest its better to get the complete car painted in one color every inch of it to hide all the past wear n tear If ur thinking of ur car's resale value in future (which u should cuz its ur money) then trust me u wont enjoy ur project at all - its a pretty old car and deserves to be restored to perfectionRestore it with love and motivation and do give sadqa
Dude Good Luck with the project
Stripping the car at home
The speaker board* is badly damaged to fit larger size speakers and woofer
Removing the dashboard
Steering column is lowered to make way for the dashboard
AC delay unit
The badly wired after market security system......
Different combination were tried before opting for All Hatch Front
hatch bumper/sedan bumper + hatch bonnet/sedan bonnet + hatch fenders/sedan fenders + hatch corner lamps/sedan corner lamps
The washer nozzles were missing the red bonnet and also its rubbers were torn so I replace them and bought another black set.....
The only drawback with all Hatch front.....the fenders are short they don't reach the doors
niceee.. bol with the resto
get this bumper it looks good. my dad bought it for 5000 from bilal gunj
