it is the most prone area for an electric spark
be it any non fused wire, a major short circuit, any tool droping/placed on the battery
this area gets sparks most easily
and currently it is close to the +ve terminal
any leak in the petrol pipes and possibility of fumes in case of a small leak can be disastrous
i recommend pl try to find another place may be as close as possible to the orignal place
dont try any plalce close to extreme heat such as the exhaust pipes:)
the pressure of the eletric pump may be higher or lower and effect performance and consumption
the jets in the carborator can not adjust to pressure like an injector , if its giving good performance and consumption its a good choice other wise ??
