Yes thats a problem in Pakistan - someone from nowhere will start fiddling with the bike - no matter if its theirs or not. A good freind of mine had a similar one like yours except his was black with red stripes. He was a crazy person like me so to tackle this problem of broken clutch cable he made the primary cable wire longer and had a split metal spacer bush that was attached to his keychain, he would insert the thing between the lever adjuster and cable body to make the cable taught. So it worked perfectly, When removed the lever went completely dead from the slack of the cable because the inner wire was too long - he never had broken clutch cables after that.
I also did some strange stuff - like make a clevis for the kickstand for my yamaha, that clevis actually held the spring to the stand but was bolted aft of the axle point of the stand, this way when the stand was unloaded - one touch from your foot would send the stand home to folded position.
The service table was a "takht" on which a rug and "gaao takiya" is placed in old homes - in this case it held up bikes on top and had tool drawers under it. While I could sit on a chair to repair them.
