the new baby is home.

today when we went to pick her up, we took a battery with us...along with some fuel.

the amazing news is...that she started up on the FIRST self...yes thats right people...the first self...even though she had been standing since 2-3 years i believe.
i was really astonished by that...couldnt believe it...

so then we drove her right home...and shes here now...safe and sound.

here are some pics...sry for the bad quality bros

I went there in the morning found morris missing. Then my friend told me it drove out by the new owner. I knew where to find it. On Internet Ofcourse. These old english engines are die hard. Enjoy restoring , this car deserves it.

btw, this is junooni......going with my real name onwards....

the car is at my place in gulshan now.

we had a delightful trip home. the car ran pretty ok, except for a little missing...found out that the speedo still works!

the brakes were barely working, clocked a max of 20mph due to this.

plan to start working on the brakes first so the car is mobile atleast.

need details on the suspension parts from anyone....

the brakes got fixed......they were a surprise from the beginning.
the garage guy had said that the brakes aren't working at all and need major work in them that's why they haven't fixed them.
when we opened up the stuff, the master cylinder alongwith all the wheel cylinders were in scratchless condition and did not even require replacement of the washers. the drums were also without any scratches, they just had the shoe dust in them which was wiped clean. one of the wheel cylinders was jammed which was cleaned and put together again, and the brake pedal was stiff again after bleeding the air out.
only the shoes were totally worn out - to the metal and needed a new leather....
i've managed to get the original style leather, with rivets and hopefully, if the mechanic keeps his word, everything should be back together again by the time i get back from work. here are a couple of pics of the restored brake shoes:
