I think restoring these type of rare cars is not possible unless can fetch parts from abroad...
I have an 84 which was in fairly good condition when I bought it 10 years ago but bought a lot of parts from uk(for detailing) and finding parts was not easy even there....
So,think twice,thrice before going for it..

RX7 is a very common car and parts can be found in most of the junkyards out here. Better be ready to pay handsome amount for shipping cost alone. Its not impossible but expensive. ebay.com
