Restoration Of Original/Specimen Spitfire.........

Salamz Pakwheel Brothers,
Another thread of restoring the original/specimen spitfire is here.As you know that we dismantled this spitfire to use it as specimen for the different panels we made for our project (blue) spitfire which is almost complete except electrical wiring and interior.
This car was thrown in the back garage for about 10 years and I could not spare time to restore it.But now I think I have time so started this restoration along with our previous project (blue) spitfire.
Body Shell is very solid and rust free...
Some attention is required for the floor pans of cockpit and boot but a lot of mechanical work including engine and suspension is required.I have already done the transmission myself with all new parts (sorry no pics) and it is out of the car already so is the drive shaft.
It will be Painted in Bright/tomato Red colour.INSHALLAH.
My share of enjoyment in these restorations is to be in contact with you brothers so I will try to capture every step like previous project and will share...

You can see that transmission is already out of the car.Nuts/bolts of the drive shaft are thrown near gear mounting........

Sure..waiting for the pics of minor....

Our back garage is not that big/wide but I preferred to dismantle it right there because its raining quite often these days so I did not want to expose it to weather unnecessarily.
You can see that there is not much space...

Only two dear

one restored (partially) and other unrestored but on the way....

Both under rider and front grill off the car..
grill is fine but both under rider need attention (little).The crack you see on the right side under rider is superficial...

Have no evidence of any third Mk4 spitfire.I will try to make you feel as if you are restoring this car yourself like previous one..

Hmmmm......white colour underneath...So it was white originally..

To be very honest , Its an effort to divert my attention (may be a futile effort).
As you know that I lost my mother about a month back,Very depressed these days and missing her a LLOOOTTT. this is just an attempt to engage my mind and nothing else...
This is the basic reason of this project at the moment.....
