My car bty (AGS) was doing fine (magic Eye was showing blue always), however one day another driver left the ignition on for a day resultantly the bty went weak. As i knew that bty was just a year old and it just need a charge, I attached it with my UPS to charge it. In weak state the magic eye was showing white. But after charging it for a few hours for two days the magic eye again turned blue (charge stable at 13v). Just to make sure that the bty was holding charge, I left the bty alone for a day just to check if it lost any charge. Even after staying idle for a 24 hrs the charge on the bty was 13v and magic eye was blue. However, when i decided to put the bty back in the car, one of the servants who brought the bty down from 3rd floor probably came jumping while climbing the stairs and when he reached the garage, i could see that the bty had lost some water in one of its cells (a little below the lowest level) and the magic eye was showing Red.
Now i have two questions:
Wht does a Red Magic Eye indicates?
i added plain water to the affected cell and still the magic eye is showing Red, although the car is fine and self started and the charge on bty is still 13 v.
